I think this picture is a good representation of African Americans during the Great Depression,
because it shows an African American farming to grow his own food. During the Great Depression
people didnt have enough money to buy food. Since alot of people lost their money from the collasp of the stock market
times were hard of them. they needed to do things for themselves adn not just depending on money since they had none.
Many people took jobs no matter what it was they were so deperate. When teh shock market collasped so did they lives of manys.

I think this is a great picture of African Americans during the Great Depression for several reasons. First, they are letting women tend in the fields for money. This is desperate because during that era, women weren't paid that much. Next, jobs weren't that open to women then. Also, African American had better job opportunities, however, since the depression, this made it even worst. Finally, farming was a job that for some reason went extinct but now that the depression occurred, farm numbers, had resurrected. That is why I believe that this was a difficult time for African Americans as well as many other folk during the Depression.

I think this picture relates to the Great Depression because it shows the struggle of the people. Familys needed money greatly
at this time. This picture shows kids working where a trade just happened. All of these African Americans where most likely
making money for there familys to survive. You dont normally see such young children working like this. This picture
shows the hurt to the people and how they had to go to certain extents to be able to survive.

This photo is a perfect depiction of life during the Great Depression for African Americans because
it shows that they had to work hard and long hours of physical labor. They are dressed in long and
dirty clothing while it is probably the middle of the summer so the conditions are very harsh but they
were so desperate for any bit of money that they were willing to work under extreme conditions.
